Vimeo is a great video management and presentation site. The fact is that I love what Youtube has done as of late with the their video services. But, before they added the ability for higher quality videos, HD support, and playlists, Vimeo was the way to go to have a quality presentation of your videos. I have been inspired by various artist’s use of Motion Graphics and Kinetic Typography. In the current project I am producing for Microsoft Surface, I am using Kinetic Typography with Live Action to draw out the keywords and sub text of the message. The use of kinetic text within the frame brings out a new sensitivity to the message. Where our ears once found stale words, our eyes now feast.
